Jordan Cadle, a Senior from Paoli Jr & Sr High School received the Top Young Scientist prize of $2500 sponsored by Dow AgroSciences. In addition, Jordan will advance to the Intel ISEF in Los Angeles, CA. His project, Utilizing the Isolated Components, Variation in Mammals, and Treatment Processes of Milk for Grain Yield Enhancement helps increase grain production through the use of organically available milk. By isolating different fats, sugars, and proteins from milk, he was able to increase the amount of wheat in a given field. Additionally, by experimenting with different animal milk from cows, goats, and camels, Jordan was able to target a variety of climate types for analysis. (read more...)
